Welcome to Verdict Film Group a next-gen distribution / sales agents dedicated to distributing great Australian

and international films and TV series that provides a platform for emerging and established Australian filmmakers

to showcase their work at home and on the global stage. The company was founded by Australian movie veterans

Allan Finney O.A.M and Cameron James Miller, who share a history and passion for supporting the Australian film industry and bringing great Australian cinema to wider audiences. Australia has a rich history of producing unique

and captivating films that have captivated audiences worldwide, from the iconic MAD MAX franchise to the critically acclaimed drama LION Australian cinema has showcased a distinct voice and style. Our mission is to continue

this legacy by bringing the best of Australian cinema to audiences across the world. We are very proud to share

an association with The Shaun Miller Foundation Australia (SMF) and have a unique Film/Media funding model

that supports the Foundation's cause. Our agreement with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profit Commission (ACNC) ensures that a portion of our proceeds from each project is donated to SMF yearly to assist

The Shaun Miller Care Centers for families of children living with CHD (Congenital Heart Disease).

Alan Finney began his historical journey in the Australian Film industry

in the early 1960's as Managing Director with Village Roadshow Film Distributors

where he pioneered the formation of Hexagon Productions

the first ongoing joint venture between production and distribution

in contemporary Australian Film history.

President of distribution and marketing he directed and released
over 500 successful motion pictures including, BREAKER MORANT
MAD MAX 1 2 3 - ROMPER STOMPER - THE PIANO - MURIEL'S WEDDING
FINDING NEMO - PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN - HAPPY FEET 

and pretty much any Australian movie you can think of...

He joined with Walt Disney Buena Vista as Vice President

and is the Board Chairman of Verdict Film Group

​Board Chairman of the AFI / AACTA Academy Awards.

​

He received an Order of Australia O.A.M in 2010

for services to the Australian Film & Television industry

and the Screen Producers Association Australia

 highest accolade the Maura Fay Award.
